Who we are
Zenfinity Bodywork is a solo somatic bodywork practice owned and operated by Zorik Bedrosian, a CAMTC-licensed massage therapist, in Woodland Hills, California. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit zenfinitybodywork.com or work with us as a client, how we use it, who has access to it, and the rights you have over it.

What we collect
We collect three categories of information:

1. Information you give us directly. This includes your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, date of birth (for the loyalty program birthday rule), payment information, intake form responses, session preferences, and anything you choose to share in messages, contact forms, or session notes. Because this practice is trauma-informed, intake forms may include sensitive health-adjacent information such as medical history, mental health context, current medications, history of trauma, and physical conditions relevant to bodywork. You provide this voluntarily so we can work with you safely.

2. Information collected automatically when you use the website. When you visit zenfinitybodywork.com, our website platform (Wix) automatically collects standard technical information including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, time spent on the site, and referring website. This is used to keep the site functioning, secure, and to understand which content is helpful.

3. Information from booking, loyalty, and member features. When you book a session, join Zenfinity Circle, take the Body Quiz, sign up for our blog, or create a member account, we collect the data needed to deliver those services — booking history, loyalty points balance, quiz responses, account credentials, and session attendance records.

We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Mailchimp, or any third-party tracking or marketing tools. We use only Wix-native tools.
How we use your information
We use your information only for the following purposes:

To schedule, confirm, and conduct bodywork sessions safely

To communicate with you about your appointments, intake, and care

To process payments and issue receipts (including for HSA/FSA reimbursement on request)

To run the Zenfinity Circle loyalty program (points, referrals, birthday rewards)

To respond to inquiries, contact form submissions, and messages

To send service-related emails (appointment reminders, policy updates) — never marketing without your consent

To improve the safety and quality of the work, based on what we learn from intake and session experience

To meet our legal, tax, and professional obligations as a CAMTC-licensed practice

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with advertisers.
Who can see your information
Zenfinity Bodywork is a solo practice. Zorik Bedrosian is the only person who reads your intake forms and session notes. Your information never leaves the practice except in these specific situations:

1. Wix, our website and booking platform. Wix.com Ltd. hosts the website, booking system, member portal, payment processing, and loyalty program. Your data is stored on Wix's secure servers, which means Wix and its sub-processors technically have access to it as part of providing the platform. Wix is bound by its own Privacy Policy and security standards. You can review Wix's privacy practices at https://www.wix.com/about/privacy.

2. With your written consent. If you ask us to share information, for example, to email session notes to your therapist, send a receipt to your HSA administrator, or coordinate with another provider in your care, we will, only with your written instruction.

3. Legal compulsion. We will release information if required by a valid subpoena, court order, or legal process, or if we are legally required to report under California-mandated-reporter laws (for example, suspected child abuse, elder abuse, or dependent adult abuse).

4. Emergency and safety. If a client discloses imminent risk of harm to themselves or others during or around a session, we may contact emergency services or designated emergency contacts. This is rare but disclosed for transparency.

5. Business succession. In the event of practice transfer, sale, succession, or practitioner incapacity, your records may be transferred to a successor practitioner or designated custodian, whom the same confidentiality obligations would bind.

These five conditions are the only ways your information leaves this practice.
How long we keep your information
We retain client intake forms and session records for seven (7) years from the date of your last session, after which they are securely destroyed. This retention period reflects the standard for healthcare-adjacent practices in California. It protects both you (for HSA/FSA documentation, future care continuity) and the practice (for legal and professional compliance).

Booking records, payment receipts, and loyalty account information are retained for as long as required by tax and accounting law, generally seven years.
​
Member account information is kept until you close your account or request deletion.

How your information is protected
Client records are stored on Wix's encrypted infrastructure. Payment information is handled by Wix Payments and is not stored by us directly. The website uses HTTPS encryption on all pages. Access to your records is limited to Zorik Bedrosian, the sole practitioner.

No system is perfectly secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security of any data transmitted online.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies, small data files stored on your device, for two purposes:

Essential cookies: required for the site, booking system, member login, and loyalty program to function. These cannot be turned off without breaking the site.

Functional cookies: remember your preferences (such as language) to improve your experience.

We do not currently use advertising, marketing, or third-party analytics cookies.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Turning off essential cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
Your rights
You have the following rights over your personal information, and these rights apply regardless of where you live (we extend California's stronger protections to all clients):

Right to know: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Right to correct: ask us to correct inaccurate information.

Right to delete: request that we delete your records earlier than the seven-year retention period, except where law requires us to keep them.

Right to opt out of communications: unsubscribe from any non-essential email at any time. Appointment-related communications are required to deliver the service.

Right to non-discrimination: we will not deny service, charge different prices, or change service quality because you exercised a privacy right.

California-specific rights (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act, including the rights described above plus:

The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use your sensitive personal information for any purpose beyond what is necessary to deliver the service.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Children
Zenfinity Bodywork services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18 through the website. If a parent or guardian books a minor for a session (rare and case-by-case), additional consent and intake procedures apply, and information is held under the same protections as any other client record
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the practice grows or as legal requirements change. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated to active clients by email.
